Who to win the World Cup 2010 in South Africa?
Here are the teams that are playing in the World Cup 2010 in South Africa next summer. Many people are missing big nations as Northern Ireland, Russia and other European countries, but they simply haven't been good enough in the qualification. You can see that many of the countries have won before like Italy, Brazil and England.
South Africa (the host), Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Denmark, The Ivory Coast, England,France,Ghana, Greece, Honduras, Italy, Japan, Cameroon, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, North Korea, Paraguay, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, South Korea, Germany, Uruguay and USA.
The favourites to win the World Cup 2010 in South Africa will be, after my opinion, England, Brazil, Netherlands and Spain. This is why:
Why would England win the World Cup in South Africa: It's been a long time since England won something at all. But now Cappello has shown what he can do with this great team. David Beckham is hungry to win a World Cup before his career is over, and players like Wayne Rooney and John Terry is absolutely world class players. You can call England an outsider, because they are not the number 1 favourite.
Why would Brazil win the World Cup in South Africa: Brazil are always up there among the favourites. Great players with a great coach (Dunga). They have won the World Cup so many years before that there is almost a rule that Brazil is going to be at least in the semi-finals. Many things depend on the great Real Madrid midfielder Kakà.
Netherlands and Spain did a great job in the Euro 2008, where Spain (with Fernando Torres as the main character) won the whole championship. Will Spain do the same thing in the World Cup 2010 in South Africa? Many people are pointing at that Spain have never won the World Cup, so I'm not sure. It might be Spain's World Cup in the first World Cup in an African Nation.
