"Ikke la fotball bli en dopingsport!", er det mange som sier. Og hylekoret blir ikke mindre av at flere av de andre store idrettene i verden sliter med akseptable holdninger ovenfor doping. Sykling, friidrett og vinter-sport er blant de mest utsatte sportene. Fotballen ligger foreløpig langt ned på lista.

For når IOC-sjefen går ut og blir bekymret for doping under OL, så er det noe galt. At russere, spanjoler og øst-europeere blir tatt for doping er blitt en vanesak. Løsningen på problemet vil vel mest sannsynlig være å hive ut juksemakerne fra all sport i all fremtid.

Mens dopingpraten går rundt OL i Vancouver hører vi ingenting fra fotballfronten. Verken i Premier League, La Ligà, Tippeligaen eller VM i Sør-Afrika. Ingen bekymrede presidenter går ut i forkant av fotball-VM og ber folk skjerpe seg. Jeg vet ikke om det er fordi fotballspillerne ikke doper seg, eller fordi kontrollene av fotballspillere suger.

Er sporten "vår" så ren som det gis uttrykk for?

Der de fleste nordmenn ser for seg et tårevått farvel til alt som kalles EM 2012, ser jeg for meg et stjernespekket Portugal som møter opp på Ullevaal til dyst mot Norges beste menn. For det er ikke hver dag Cristiano Ronaldo, Deco og Bosingwa tar turen til Norge for å spille match.

Resten av kampene blir nok relativt normale. Danmark og Island er nok land vi kommer til å slite mot, men hovedkampen for meg blir i hvert fall mot Portugal. Det er ikke hver dag verdens beste spiller kommer til Ullevaal.

South Africa
World Cup second-worst team, just ahead of New Zealand, will be raised by an enthusiastic home crowd. I doubt that there is enough.
Which NOK helps more is that Carlos Alberto Parreira is brought back as coach.
He has some good results to show for, but the material he has to work with the extreme number of notches worse than what he had to work with before.

Have a couple of good players, but defensively and offensively, it is too weak. A Pienaar in the form can save some credit, but I have found it hard to believe that there is enough.
It's also possible that Parker be suspended for 6 months, so when it gets even worse for a bad team.
Mexico
My favorite to win this group. They have been satifised with the way they brought themself to the Fifa world cup 2010, and now they are going to win this group A.
They have strong performance during Aguirre, including victory in the Gold Cup, and in addition, they have an excellent stable.
Pardo, Marquez, Salcido, Osorio and Guardado are all players who hold a very high standard.
But the key for Mexico lies in their excellent goalkeeper Ochoa. He has an extreme reaction time and a fantastic range. Bonus is that if he performs in the World Cup, so will the big European clubs make up the eyes, can raise him even more.
Uruguay
Uruguay is a very unstable team, which quickly can be the joker in this group.
Offensive it may be fireworks at times. Suárez and Forlan are both players who can bucket the goal of the functioning of the joints behind.

You might know that Anfield is not a place to play FIFA World Cup, and that Liverpool is not a nation. But it interesting to see where the Liverpool-players will be when FIFA World Cup 2010 kicks of in the middle of july. Many players, as Fernando Torres and Steven Gerrard, are going to play in the FIFA World Cup in South Africa, and they absolutely need a club to be in when they come home.Bathing ball is just the optimum that could have happened to all ABL supporters and tops a terrible season start for the LFC.

9 matches are done, and I speak now of Liverpool's games, and further opportunities for a possibilities to get a medal in the Premership this year - I know it's the excact same opportunities that England has to take the FIFA World Cup 2010 trophy home to England.

There have been 4 losses and 5 wins. And 1 win and 2 loss in CL
* It started against Tottenham, which I had not seen. But have heard that the victory was fully deserved, and a tame performance of LFC.
* Then grind the Stoke 4-0, everything good again. The game well, and the goals flowed into.
* Then perform the losing at home 1-3 for Villa, after a very tame show. It was a game that should go quickly into the history books as one of Liverpool's worst performances.
* Fighter against Bolton could soon gone both ways, and we talked again about the league title because it showed the winning determination (note that)
* Liverpool win as his second match in a row after crushing Burnley 4-0. Burnley which also scored his first away goals in the weekend ..

To summarize, we have lost every single match against opposition that is around the level to Liverpool. The victories have come over the evidence against worse teams(Although one can discuss whether West-Ham and Bolton are worse teams of course).

These laws really not good for the rest of the season, and something drastic should be done. I'm not saying kick Benitez, I owe nor the sale of Alonso, and not the owners. I think though Benitez has a helvettes job to do to get the spirit back in the team. The same team that last year played good football against opponents of the same caliber as LFC. The only difference is a right back out and a better right back into. A midfielder out. This should not be NOK to tilt an entire team out of balance as it has now been done.

Torres and Gerrard are otherwise harmed, but the loss of the row started before they got their injuries, and had also participated in the games where the game was just as little inspiration as tonight.

Som mange vet, så er det i år klart for at et afrikansk lag skal være vertskap for det velkjente fotball-VM. På engelsk blir fenomenet omtalt som "World Cup 2010: South Africa", og er blant verdenseliten på å arrangere gode arrangementer. Problemer med disiplin, voldssamfunn og infrastruktur kan absolutt være et problem under World Cup 2010: South Africa, men vi håper og tror på at alt skal gå bra under VM.

Sør-Afrikas VM-forberedelser er absolutt i rute! Mange har sett seg forundret på at stadionene er mye mindre enn de som ble brukt både under Tyskland-VM, men også i Sør-Korea og Japan. Vil World Cup 2010: South Africa bli preget av at stadionene er for små, og at ikke nok folk slipper inn?Bekymringer for at VM-arenaer i Durban og Cape Town kan kjøre over budsjettet har også vært heftig diskutert da Sør-Afrika ikke er et av de mest pengesterke landene i verden. Alle World Cup 2010: South Africa-stadioner er satt til å være ferdig innen 31 oktober 2009.

Many wonders why there is a such moment in an African nation. Murders, high rates of crime and low police budget doesn't really fit into a great FIFA World Cup. But as we know, many World Cups in the soccer history have been greatful - many of them in countries like South Africa.

Will Norway reach any Fifa World Cup soon?

As we all know, Denmark is the only team from the Nortern part of Europe that qualified to the FIFA World Cup 2010: South Africa. Many peopled, especially in Norway, thought that their national team would be one of the best teams in their qualification group. But as we saw, they didn'¨t reach the FIFA World Cup as they hoped.

Personally I think the Netherlands and Scotland will be too strong for Norway. Although we were very close now in the European Championship qualifier I do not think we are when the World Cup. In the championship-whale pimps are usually the top two teams going forward, and the two best teams in this group is undoubtedly the Netherlands and Scotland. On the other hand, there is no doubt that miracles can happen in football, and that Norway is continuing from this group may not be a miracle once, so one should never say never. I hope at least we can do it, but faith has not.

When it comes to qualifying for the Euro in 2012 and the future of Norway in general, I think Norway can have better opportunities. I say with regard to all the young talents in Norwegian football, for example, Nordtveit, Skjelbred, Elyounoussi and Huseklepp. It's not obvious that these players will develop into good football players, but in this field, I have faith.

The Olympic games is the biggest thing Japan has hosted, and now they have their national team in the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa. Many people are wondering on how the Asian team will be doing, but many are also thinking of that China is not a country. North Korea, South Korea and Japan (and also Australia/New Zealand) are the countries that will participate from the great east.

Japan was introduced to football people as a soccer nation in the 2002 World Cup, but also participated in the previous World Cup in 1998. 2010 World Cup is actually their fourth world championship in a row. FIFA World Cup: The best Premiership team?

Many people are waiting for the great FIFA World Cup next summer. But until then, we have to watch Premier League. Liverpool vs Manchester United is always the big theme when it comes to who's the best football team in England. Here's a assessment wether Liverpool or Manchester United is the best English football team.

On the keeper spot will Liverpool win with the Spanish keeper Reina, but Van der Sar is not far behind. Reina has been a real class keeper for several years and he is probably at his best age. Van der Sar is a bit old, but absolutely a great player too.

In the right and left back spot getting both teams a point when, respectively, Evra and Johnson wins there.

Both United's stoppers are better than Liverpool's who also has good midtbacks. Carragher has had a terrible season so far and this may be a sign that he begins to lose his skills and should let Agger and Skrtel take over the responsibility of the defense. Liverpool should really invest in some good soccer players in the back side.

At midfield, winning both Fletcher and Carrick against Lucas. Marcherano it is a bit difficult to say with. Carrick is probably the one he should be compared with and then I had perhaps been forced to choose Carrick, but it is very smooth so let's say 1 point each there.
One can argue that Marcherano is more important to Liverpool than Carrick is, but for me it says more about the stable to Liverpool than how good each of these players are.

So it's 3 points to Liverpool and 5 for United so far.

Venstrekant Giggs win easily against Riera as for me very oppskrytt if your opinion is that you go after. At the same time I think Yossi should have been selected on venstrekant, but Giggs win against him though with a much smaller margin. Some are happy to disagree with the decision, but Gigg's routine is priceless, and put him over Benayoun in my eyes.

On the right side is the Kuyt against Valencia and where I must choose Kuyt. Last year he was kanksje PL's best right edge and has done well this year too. Valencia could possibly be better, but I do not consider the potential.

Attacking midfielder / striker is hanging the position I have the greatest difficulty in determining just because Rooney is not playing in a clean hanging striker / offensive midfielder role as I see it.
It is for me to compare Anelka and Lampard. If not impossible then at least incredibly difficult.
Both are very good, but one is clearly more important than the other. This is both because of broad in the stable and his skills.

Then I would say that Manchester United and Liverpool are both good teams, but Manchester United have a better manager and routine. They will definately rank higher than this Liverpool team on the Premier League table. This i sthe conclusion on who's the best premiership team; Manchester United!

South Africa is the first African nation to host a FIFA World Cup, and many people are wondering how they are going to fix all the problems that includes infrastructure, police, security and things that a World Cup-nation have to fix before this big global event. However, the South African football is under great development. They are getting more and more star players in the bigger leagues in Europe as Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga and aslo in France.

They do not have VM on their board, but they have two. Both of these are recent and there is talk of 1998 and 2002. Both times they ended on 3 place in their group, and they were very close to move forward in 2002. This means that there is something hopeless team in question and that at home they can easily become dangerous. They were not bad in the Confederations Cup last summer, and as we already know: The host nation of FIFA World Cup is "always" surprising the great audience of these events.

The team's results in 2009 can probably safely be said to be mixed. 5 wins, 3 draws and a total of 10 loss Says fasiten. At home they have, however, only lost twice if you look away from the Confederations Cup. Wins against Poland, uavjort against Japan and extra time against Spain in Conf. Argentina has numerous world championship behind them. They are a proud nation in the World Cup context, with 4 finals where 2 ended with a trophy. Argentina won the FIFA World Cup in 1978 and 1986. World Cup in 1986 was dominated by Argentina, with Diego Maradona as the best player and with his famous "Hand of God"! In 2010, he might respectively stand on the sidelines and lead Messi and co to a playoff. In FIFA World Cup in Germany in the last world championship, ended with the quarter-finals for the team from South America, the time they lost to host nation Germany after a Miroslav Klose goal, and the then coach José Pekerman resigned after the World Cup.

I wish Argentina good luck in the FIFA World Cup 2010, but I don't really hope they win the championship.

Norway&Sweden NOT to host the European Championship 2016

Today the Norwegian newspaper Verdens Gang writes about how the Norwegian and Swedish goverment not will give any support to host the European Championship in 2016. And that's great. This is the two best reasons why Norway should not host EC 2016:

- Too long distance between the stadiums

Norway is a long country with great mountains, fjords and things like that. The infrastructure on the other hand is not great at all. Between Norway's two biggest cities, Oslo and Bergen, a train trip takes 7 hours. Oslo-Trondheim takes about the same time. If you are going to travel 300,000 people from Oslo to Trondheim or Stavanger, it will be a mess.

- The national team sucks

In fact, Norway haven't been to a European or World Championship since 2000. There is 9 (!) years since their last participation in the World Cup, which might give the Norwegian people something to think about. The national team has nothing to do in World Cup or European Championship.

The future might look a bit brighter now that Stale Solbakken has taken over as the national coach from 2012, but until then.. no chance for the norway nation team in football.

Group G: "Group of death" - South Africa World Cup

Many people are wondering after the World Cup groups are selected on how group G will be. Portugal, Ivory Coast, Brazil and North Korea are all member of the group many will call "Group of death". Portugal was not the best team when they played the qualification. Brazil won 8 of their 10 matches in the qualification, and Ivory Coast went trough the African qualification very easy.

But is really the group G so terribly difficult? Ivory Coast is really good enough to deal with Portugal and Brazil? And North Korea will probably be the sacrifice?
So how can we call this "group of death"? I would like to be wrong, and I'd like a new case of the Norwegian group in USA World Cup in 1994, but I do not think the Ivory Coast is strong enough , and that Brazil will win the group with seven points, ahead of Portugal's five. I really hope Portugal will find out that Cristiano Ronaldo should play attacker and not wing.

Ivory Coast will come to South Africa World Cup with players like Arthur Boka, Kolo Toure, Yaya Toure, Didier Zokora, Bonaventure Kalou, Salomon Kalou, Arouna Kone, Didier Drogba, Emanuel Eboue, Aruna Dindane and Abdul Kader Keita. These are all players with good international experience, and these are all players that has a chance in nearly every Premier League team and do that team stronger. So what's up with this Ivory Coast team in World cup?

Ivory Coast are, of course, a real outsider in this championship, and definitely good enough to move on from the group say. They included the team know that they are represented by some of the best players in some made Kappeler, and most players hold the day in the best leagues in Europe. That they also play at "home" is of course a great advantage. Maybe Africa's best card of the final will be a world champion in football.

The conclusion is that we find 3 good teams and 1 bad team in the group G. North Korea wont have a chance against the three better teams. But one good team has to fail, and I will put my money on Ivory Coast for not going further in the FIFA World Cup in South Africa 2010. It's sad, but it's nearly the hard fact.

My Favorite team in FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa will be Portugal in that they have both Cristiano Ronaldo and Deco, who are both hungry for success. I really enjoy seeing Portugal when they are at their best. Denmark won the qualification group against Portugal, Sweden, Hungary, Malta and Albania, but I will say that Cristiano Ronaldo and the rest of the Portugal team won every heart in Europe. I Portugal don't win the World Cup 2010, I have really no idea about who should win, but it'd be cool with England or the Netherlands.

Still angered over the way France qualified for last night, have never liked the especially well before either, so now I wish they certainly an early exit. I really really hope that Thierry Henry will get his penaly for cheating France to the World Cup 2010 in South Africa. Give him two or three matches away from the pitch. That would just be a fair penalty, and France will have to play without one of their best players.

I hope England and Portugal makes good championship, and that the African teams shows up, in particular, I hope for Ghana and Nigeria. Ghana shocked the world with great football and great entertainment in 2006 in World Cup in Germany. Unfortunaltely they lost against Brazil in the 1/16- finale.

My tip to win the World Cup is "boring" Brazil. With Spain as the biggest challenge. As I see it, the two best teams in the world. England, Italy, Germany, Netherlands and Argentina should also be included. My outsider: Ivory Coast.

I know just one thing ... and that is that this will be one of the best World Cups in the soccer history!

Why would Brazil win the World Cup in South Africa: Brazil are always up there among the favourites. Great players with a great coach (Dunga).
